This book presents the theory that has guided my macroeconometric
specifications since my earlier forecasting model. A brief summary
of this work and how it relates to the literature is in
Section 2.1.1 in Testing Macroeconometric

The theory is also summarized in Section 1.1 of
Volume II--1976#1--which presents the
